Nutella Pretzel Cookies

The sweet and salty combination you’ve always loved has been taken one step further. Behold, the Nutella Pretzel Cookie. The flavors of the chocolate covered pretzel is now in cookie form. It’ll tame your wildest chocolatey and salty cravings. It is, the ultimate sweet and salty snack.



1 1/4 cup of flour

3/4 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 1/4 sticks of unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup dark brown sugar

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/3 cup Nutella

2/3 cup chocolate chips/chunks or chocolate sprinkles

1 1/3 cups crushed pretzels

granulated sugar (for sprinkling)


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, salt, cocoa powder, and baking soda. Next, cream together the brown sugar and softened butter in a stand mixer. Beat in the Nutella. Once incorporated, beat in the egg and vanilla. Add in the pretzels and chocolate chips/sprinkles. Slowly add in the flour mixture until well incorporated.

Spoon batter onto parchment lined or greased cookie sheets. Sprinkle with granulated white sugar and bake for 12 minutes.
