Culinary Knives that are Pretty Damn Cool

29 Sep

I come from a family of foodies. All my life, the only food I’ve ever known is home-cooked, farm-fresh deliciousness. I grew up cooking with my dad. I would stand on my little step-stool with my yellow apron and stir, chop, peel, and wash for him. Naturally, I found cooking fun and as I got older, my curiosity and love-affair with it grew. I ventured off into the world of baking, never looking back. I can honestly say that food is my savior. It has this ability to put a smile on my face no matter what.

When my father told me of his idea to design, manufacture, and sell his own culinary knives, I was psyched. We agreed on the lengthy list of requirements and off we went. A year later, we have finally launched our online catalog and have all of our products in stock and ready to go. It’s a little scary, knowing how much time and money we’ve invested into this company, but we are confident and extremely excited.

Macklin and Co. is dedicated to making the best quality products for serious cooks. Whether you’re a chef or just a loving home-cook, our knives are for you. All of our products are 100% made in the USA. They’re made with a specialized steel, from upstate New York, designed to hold an edge for much longer than the average knife and they have rounded edges near the handle for maximum comfort during prolonged use. I could honestly go on and on about our products. I just think it’s so awesome that there are finally products like these. Something my father and I searched high and low for, but just couldn’t find. Now, we’ve made it ourselves! Come on, how freaking badass is that?!

All knives from Macklin & Co. are designed to last multiple generations, and we offer a lifetime warranty for the original owner. We currently offer The Legacy Series, consisting of a 9.5 inch chef’s knife, 8.25 inch chef’s knife, 3.5 inch paring knife, and a heavy duty pot fork that works equally well as a carving fork. In addition, we also offer a 12″ and a 14″ leather knife roll that is handmade in Texas.

I think this is cool as hell, and if you do too, feel free to visit:
